د. عاطف ياسين الشريف محامٍ مصري بارز وخبير في أسواق المال. حاصل على ليسانس الحقوق من جامعة أسيوط 1988، ودبلوم حقوق الإنسان من المعهد الدولي للعلوم الجنائية في سيراكيوز بإيطاليا 1990، وماجستير إدارة الأعمال في أسواق المال من الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم المالية والمصرفية 2010، ودكتوراه في إدارة الأعمال من كلية التجارة جامعة القاهرة.
Dr. Atef Yassin El-Sherif is a distinguished Egyptian lawyer and financial markets expert. He holds a Law degree from Assiut University (1988), a Diploma in Human Rights from the International Institute of Criminal Sciences in Syracuse, Italy (1990), an MBA in Financial Markets from the Arab Academy for Financial and Banking Sciences (2010), and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Cairo University's Faculty of Commerce.
بدأ مسيرته القانونية في الإدارة القانونية للبورصة المصرية عام 1994، حيث تدرج حتى منصب نائب رئيس القطاع القانوني، وأسهم في صياغة تشريعات سوق الأوراق المالية وفي تأسيس بورصة دمشق وسوق المال الليبي. تولى رئاسة البورصة المصرية عام 2013، وهو عضو نقابة المحامين المصريين منذ 1989 ومحكم معتمد في مركز تحكيم جامعة عين شمس.
He began his legal career in the Egyptian Exchange's legal department in 1994, rising to Deputy Head of the Legal Sector, and played a key role in drafting securities market legislation and establishing the Damascus Securities Exchange and Libya's capital market. He served as Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange in 2013, and is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 1989 and an accredited arbitrator at Ain Shams University Arbitration Center.
